Q: What is a Bulk Satellite Agreement?
A: Spartan Net has negotiated with DirecTV to offer all residents Total Choice Programing which includes 150 + Digital Channels, local channlels and the Big Ten Network. Also included are 50 XM Satellite radio channels along with many other exclusive programs and features.

Q: What Satellite services are offered through Spartan Net?
A: All DirecTV services are available to you at your community. Within your move in packet you should have received the most recent services and prices that are available to you.

Q: Is there an installation or connection fee for my satellite services?
A: Spartan Net does not charge an installation fee, if you sign up for service within 30 days of the start of your lease. Your DirecTV comes with free professional Standard installation from certified installers.

Q: How do I sign up and pay for satellite services?
A: In order to receive satellite service from Spartan Net, you must sign a Services Lease Addendum. You pay for your satellite services at the same time you pay your rent. You may include your satellite services payment in the same payment as your rent. Your rent will increase $34.99.

Q: What if I have more than one TV?
A: Each television will require a receiver in order for satellite service. Spartan Net will install all receivers at no charge during the initial installation. For each additional receiver there is a $4.99 monthly mirroring fee.

Q: What if I want to upgrade to HD, DVR or premium channels?
A: Additional Services are available through DirecTV. To order any additional services call 1-866-386-7778. You will pay for your choice satellite package with your rent, and any additional upgrades or premium packages will be billed by Direct TV. You can refer to the upgrade price sheet that was included in your move in packet for upgrade pricing

Q: What if I have a problem with my Satellite service?
A: If you have problems with your satellite service and you have signed a Services Addendum, please review the set-up and troubleshooting guide. If you need further assistance, please contact our Customer Support Team at 1-866-DTNSPRT (1-866-386-7778), available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
