
TV screen is blank and there is no sound:
Your set is probably not receiving electrical power.
Make certain the TV set is turned on, it is plugged in, and an ìon/offî wall switch does not control it.
Make certain that the VCR is turned off.
TV screen is blue:
Your VCR/DVD or other external equipment is not setup properly.
Make sure that your external equipment is setup properly; that your VCR is on channel 3 and tuned to channel 3; or turn it off. It is recommended that you read the manuals that came with the external equipment since manufacturerís specifications do vary.
If your TV has a TV/Video button, make sure that it is in TV mode.
Audio doesn't match the video (ex. weather broadcast on channel 3):
Some channels offer a separate audio track in other languages. You are hearing this because the SAP (Separate Audio Present) has been engaged on your television.
Turn off the SAP function on your TV set.
Usually the SAP button on your remote control will toggle the SAP function on/off.
Cable-related problems:
The following are indicators that the problem lies with the cable signal. Please call our support line.
You're getting straight or wavy interference lines diagonally across your TV screen.
You're receiving a weak or fuzzy picture.
Your picture flickers or is snowy.
Your picture is ghosting (double images).
