Programming my TV
Only receiving channels 2 to 13 (or not receiving all channels):
This common complaint is normally a TV set programming issue and has nothing to do with the cable service.
The problem may result when the TV is temporarily unplugged or there is a local power outage. The power loss to the TV set could cause the TV to lose its memory. When this occurs it may become necessary to reset the TV set to the Cable or CATV mode.
Use the menu or setup button that can be located on the TV or the original remote control to reset the TV set.
If the TV is set to the Air or Antennaî mode it must be switched to the Cable or CATV mode.
Use the AUTO PROGRAM feature on your TV to reprogram your TV set to receive the cable signal and all available channels.
Please Note: Universal or ìall-in-oneî remote controls do not always access the menu or setup screen to program your TV set. You should always use the original remote control that came with your TV set
Consult the instructional handbook that came with the TV since manufacturerís specifications do vary.
